. . . I asked my dad as we arrived home from the craft show last Saturday. Mom and I spent an entire day chatting up our witty creations in our oh-so-cute booth of handbags, cards and baubles, and didn't even sell enough to cover our booth fee--let alone the hours of prep that went into everything. Making art is rewarding. Selling art is frustrating. I've decided to dedicate the rest of my projects for the year to personal ones and gifts for family and friends. Giving is heartwarming!
Check out the vintage fabrics page for a peek at my new handbag.
Oh! Here's a funny comment from the craft show: I had my little pincushions displayed on a cake stand, and a lady walks by, looks at them, and says "oh they look so real!" . . . Your guess is as good as mine!
