What a blustery day! Nora and I have been snuggled up inside all day with candles glowing and blankets piled on the beds and sofa as the wind howls and dark clouds race across the sky. She's napping quietly, and I'm enjoying some time with my new laptop and a steaming cup of coconut macaroon coffee (thanks mom!). I just got my wireless interenet connection and router up and running today, and it is so liberating to roam around the house with a computer tucked under your arm (even if your house is only 1000 sq.ft)!
I am so pleased to annouce that my entire collection of recently-stitched and sketched vintage fabric items has been purchased by the owner of "Rosebud" gift shop, located in the Hearts Desire gift and antique mall in Elkhart (3030 Old Us 20 W)! Though you may not see some of the items until spring, it is worth a trip to see Deb's adorable booth in this eclectic mall. I always find something inside! Add it to your to-shop list before the holidays!

Here's a view from the front yard of our little cottage one recent October evening.
