New Etsy Shop

Today I put the finishing touches on my Etsy shop. To visit, just click on the little icon to the right in my blog under "Where to Buy." So now you can actually buy some of my dandy little creations instead of just drooling over what I'm making for other people! . . .Well! Aren't I full of myself?!
I'm sure once you get to the Etsy sight, the drooling will really start. I've got some serious competition from talented crafters. You may want to put on a bib--or at least protect your keyboard!

My Shadow Box

Here's a peek at a favorite treasure in my house--a display case I found at an auction and filled with some little findings I've gathered here and there--mostly more auction extras found at the bottom of box lots. I lined the back with some antique wallpaper found at a flea market last year. Just a bit of inspiration from me to you!

I think this was really Nora's first real snowman. She enjoyed licking him more than she did actually building him. The snow was perfect for packing. The air is silent and thick with fog today--land and sky melting together in a horizonless soft haze of white.
I'm weary of winter, but a two-year old's unending sense of wonder can help brighten any day!

I whipped up these little "Sweetheart Envelopes" this weekend. My new yo-yo maker was disappointingly enormous, but it helped me to get the hang of making smaller ones more precisely for this project. It was another fun way to use my button stash. Now. . . .who shall I send them to?
