I made a couple new sets of yoyo barrettes this weekend. They're made from tiny scraps of my "new" feedsack and vintage buttons, rickrack and ribbon attached to an alligator clip (my favorite for clipping into Nora's pigtails on the run). Check my Etsy site to buy.
Also, my handbags are now available for sale at Two Red Chairs Gallery in Winona Lake, IN (720 E Canal St.). The gallery is certainly my favorite among the many others in the artist's village: fantastic watercolor and acrylic paintings by Steve Johnson, unique twig furniture, pottery, jewelry. You'll be sure to find something that's just right for yourself, your home or a friend. My most difficult decision is where to eat when I go to the village at Winona, though. There are a few yummy sandwich shops and a bakery, a great steak house, and a new fusion bistro that I've yet to try, but heard rave reviews on. We went for an antique car show on Saturday, so there was something for hubby to enjoy. A fun way to spend a day!
