time to nest again

The furnace has been turned on, the corn has been harvested all around the house, the last of the autumn color is quickly falling to the ground, and today we ended daylight savings time. I've been doing many things around the house to cozy up--a candle in the window to cheer me as I wash the dishes, an extra blanket at the foot of the bed . . . and I also stitched this little patchwork pillow cover from a charm pack of Amy Butler squares in her "lotus" collection. I love the way it pulls everything in the room together in one happy little punch of color on the couch. Other creative projects include some freelance graphic design and a Christmas-themed watercolor painting for a special art show at church. Maybe I'll post some WIP (work in progress) pictures soon on that. I'd like some feedback.
