Hello! Thanks so much for stopping in to meet me! I began painting in watercolor over 25 years ago and have always been inspired by living, growing, leafy green subjects. Lately what's interesting me as an artist is returning to the traditional watercolor techniques I began with as a young artist and depicting "cozy" subjects. I love to empart a bit of enchantment to everyday items in my tiny house and the flora and fauna in my big back yard.
NOT TO BRAG, BUT . . . I have a Bachelor's degree in Studio Art and English from Indiana Wesleyan University, and my work has been represented by galleries and boutiques in Northern Indiana, Chicago, San Francisco and Nashville, TN.
PUBLISHED/FEATURED IN: Forbes.com, The Paper Nerd, Somerset Studio, Taproot Magazine, My Indiana Home magazine, and multiple issues of Edible Michiana.
A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS: moonrises, dark chocolate, children's illustration, Muppet humor, Americana music and bird watching.
GETTING SOCIAL: I'm most active online on Instagram. This is where I share my daily work and inspiration from my big back yard and my tiny house down a country road. I blog here when I have a great story to tell, a major event or a tip to share. If you're a Facebook junkie, you can find me here. If email is your jam, I release an e-newsletter occasionally containing stories about my work, news about upcoming events and freebies. You can sign up in the subscription tab in the menu. I hope to connect with you soon on one of these channels and help you to live a more artful life!
